Program Assistant — Bethel Math & Science Scholars Program Summer STEAM Academy

BICD is seeking enthusiastic and dependable Program Assistants to support the Bethel Math & Science Scholars Program Summer STEAM Academy in Jamaica Plain, Boston. This role offers the opportunity to help create a positive, engaging, and hands-on learning environment for students throughout the summer.

Location: Jamaica Plain, Boston
Dates: June 22 – July 31, 2026
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:30 PM
Pay: $19–$27 per hour, based on experience

About the Role

Program Assistants will support daily program operations and student engagement during the Summer STEAM Academy. Responsibilities include assisting with activities, supporting instructors, helping supervise students, and contributing to a safe, organized, and encouraging environment.

Program Activities

Students will take part in a range of hands-on experiences, including science experiments, robotics, model airplane building, field trips, and other STEAM-based learning activities.
